X's 1st birthday

X is finally ONE! YEAH!! :)

He's grown so much over the year and is largely a cheerful bunny. Nevertheless, he's developing more of a strong character especially when there are interesting toys at stake! While X's fairly interested in his birthday present, he is more thrilled when J shares his trains...

We celebrated with a dinner cum trip to the RWS aquarium.  I think X's a happy bunny and J enjoyed himself too (he's able to indulge in X's birthday cake) =D

As for me, I love the jelly fish as they are so enchanting...

Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve

 

We thought a trip to connect with nature was timely but the boys were rather tired possibly from the long drive and hot weather. 

The best part for me was to see the 'flying fish' but I think they rather enjoyed the squirrels.

Oh well, we have to head back to the Kranji area again some day to check out the farms.

 

Conversations with J (11)

As J was eating some prawn noodles at a faster than usual pace, I decided to praise him...
me: You are good boy-boy to finish so quickly.
J: You are good mummy!

As I carried him to the car from the mall after I noticed he's rather tired from walking/shopping,
me: my hands are very tired now so you will have to walk home from our carpark.
J: I will carry you...

Aw... isn't he so smart and sweet? :P

Out of the blue,
J: I want to wear bra!
me: (WHAT??!) No, you cannot. You are boy.
J: I am girl. I want to wear.

J: Popo, do you want to sit my train to Choa Chu Kang?
P: No, you go ahead. Who is driving the train?
J: Uncle

J (while playing with his cars): Papa, I am going to AYE!!!
He's like a sponge! Must have been listening to our conversations and learnt that AYE is a highway.

J is eager to blow candles, cut and EAT yoghurt cake. Yummy!
