I.Love.Bubble Bath

Spilt personality

J is extremely impatient and adamant that no one shall stand between him and his milk/solids. Hear his 'cry' for food in the video below. He is perfectly happy again once he's got something to chomp.

While he is typically very active, he's cool with being strapped in the high chair because he knows he will be fed! It is now essential to pack snacks like Gerber's fruit puffs for him whenever we go out now!

Day and Night

No chance to update my blog cos still busy with work and free time spent with energy zapper - J! Btw, the title of this post could have been "Angel and Monster".

In the day, J can be such a delight when he's playful, giggling, clapping his hands (he even does it when his cousin X was crying miserably). But, at night, he seemed to morph into a different being and can cry/scream incessantly until our hearts break :(

I'm sure he can beat the cheering sec school girls hands down and can even move other vehicles faster than an ambulance siren... so much so that I feel really sorry for our neighbours. As it takes much longer to calm him down for him to take his milk, I even wondered if his colic has made a return. This screaming business is also compounded by his increasingly ability to fling the pacifier away from his mouth. We should be bringing J to his pd and hopefully we can have a more permanent solution to this. sigh!
p.s.: we saw the pd and the explanation is that infants at this stage of development tends to dream more or it could be due to overstimulation at night. doh :(
